Express Travel Pte Ltd

You won't believe what we did this time round....
I called it Express Travel Pte Ltd.....
Daddy had 3 days off from work...
We (this time round we brought grandma along.....)
travelled from Singapore to Johor Bahru,
Johor Bahru to KL,
KL to Ipoh,
and from Ipoh to Singapore....
Isn't that alot to accomplish in 3 days?!?
I am so proud of you daddy!!

We went up to KL to visit our new baby cousin; Mikki.
Isn't she such a sweetie?!?
*nudge* daddy, I also want a baby brother or sister to play with!!

These pictures were taken at Restaurant 1919, Ipoh Garden East, Ipoh.
(Directly opposite Tesco)
This yummy eatery is recommended by yi ku ma....
The atmosphere is nice, it throws you back in time, the food is okay....
BUT, the service is EXCELLANT! You should go try it for yourself.....
good food + good company + good service = a happy hiroshi
Isn't that a perfect equation?!?

That's me looking exhuasted from the Express Travel holiday.
I am sleeping on my make shift bed;
Blankies on the floor board of Uncle Chong's spacious Serena car....
Night night, Sleep tight, Dun let the blankie bugs bite.....
I am already looking forward about my next travel adventures!

Oh, before I forget. Happy Childrens' Day!
May all the children in the world live in peace and harmony.
Let there be no sorrows, no worries and no pain.....
Only laughters of carefree children flooding up the streets.....

1) Baby Talk- The only thing I can say is Ah-Pa, PaPa
2) I've got 6 lovely pearlies....
3) I love to play Peek-a-boo.....
(the book night night baby by ladybird is good!!)

and helps me discover my own influence on the world around me)
6) I love pushing stools around so that I can climb up to gain height,
like that I can reach higher places mah.....
7) I can put balls into a bucket

my FIRST birthday which is 2 months away....
(Hey, mummy, It's MY birthday..... why you so excited arr??....)

One of the many perks in daddy's job
is rubbing shoulders with famous people...
(*tugging daddy's pants*
Daddy, they so tall how you rub their shouders arr??)
I'm sure you can recognise Hidetoshi Nakata,
star striker in the Japanese World Cup Football Team.
He was so good that he played in Serie A and English Premier League.
Have you watched Pearl Harbour, Black Hawk Down
& Lucky Number Slevin...?
Well...that's right....
That's actor Josh Hartnett....

Discover Hong Kong ||

First stop, Wong Tai Sin Temple....
From the airport, We took a bus to Wong Tai Sin Temple....
This is the first time mummy takes a bus in Hong Kong.
To think of it, it was super convenient,
as there were large metal shelves on the bus
for our baggage and stroller.....
The bus ride was reasonably comfortable,
I fell asleep first...
then mummy follow suit....
We must be dead tired from waking up
so early in the morning to catch our flight.....
coz mummy only woke up
1 stop before Wong Tai Sin bus stop and panicked!!
She woke up and asked the lady on the next seat
if this was Wong Tai Sin...
The lady just clamly replied, "nope, next stop....."
Then mummy struggled with the stroller, baggage and me....
It was super unglam!!

The temple was majestic....
Lots of STAIRS....
Thankfully, there were slopes as well for my Capella AWD PRAM....
Mummy breezed through the temple using those slopes.....
There were many people around....
But not all people who came, gave their offerings....
A tour guide was firing away in japanese....
to curious looking tourist.....
who were only interested to take pictures with their "kawaii + peace" sign!!
Mummy quickly gave her offerings and left....

We decided to take the MTR (train system in HKG)....
When mummy pushed my pram to the station entrance,
She noticed that there were flights of itimidating stairs waiting for her!!
She panickly searched for an escalator or an elevator....
NOPE, none was sighted!!
So mummy asked this young chap nearby if
there is an escalator or elevator to the MTR.....
only to be met by a dissappointing "NO"
But he offered to help mummy carry the pram down....
mummy was so grateful!!

We took the MTR to Prince Edward Stn, the start of Ladies Street....
When we got off from the train station,
we realised that we were stucked with the SAME PROBLEM....
just a flight of stairs staring blankly at us again!!
No escalator or elevator that we took so much for granted in Spore!!
Exasperated, mummy asked the station staff...
& he just retorted..."No....you've to climb the stairs..." & walk away...
Poor mummy was seething....

So mummy came out with a brilliant idea, which was...
to leave the pram at the concierge in Kowloon Hotel &
venture the city with me on a backpack carrier...

We went to Thong-Chiu for a meal.....
Mummy ordered pig liver porridge and bean curd....
The porridge was super yummy.....
I ate non stop....
then mummy asked me if her cooking was really that bad....
..."no comments mum...."
That will be the safest answer!!
Mummy said the bean curd was really smooth...
and she missed the Hong Kong food like CRAZY!!

Oh, up next was mummy's favourite hobby,
SHOPPING....
& we homed in on Ladies' Market....
Mummy walked UP and Down the streets and ended up with nothing!!
Mummy Thoughts:
Sigh.... Priorities in life has changed...
A baby changes everything...
Do you need that fancy FAKE miu miu handbag?!?
Do you need that latest FAKE Gucci shades?!?
Do you still need those flimsy sexy trendy clothes?!?
The answer was a straight NO!!
It's all baby friendly.....
Comfortable clothes, trusty backpack with all baby essentials......
nah, lose that shade... everybody will be looking at your cute baby.....

Mummy was really tired carrying me.....
Hey mum, I am only 8.3kg....
so fast tired liao arr....?
So no choice lor, got to go back to the hotel
to rest our aching feets at the lobby....

We waited and waited at the lobby,
Mummy just sat down, and did the most unglam thing on earth!!
Wriggled her toes in the lobby of a 5 star hotel!!
Wahahahaha... Couldn't help it.... her feet were really sored....
One by one, we saw SQ crew checking out
and mummy saw her batch mate, Cammy....
They chatted & caught up with their lost time...
Then Cammy jie jie has to catch the bus to the airport to San Francisco.....

By this time, mummy felt that she was ready to go explore again....
& with me in the carrier, we go shopping nearby....
Nothing much to shop... in fact we ended up in mummy's favourite dessert store,
Hoi Lau San....
Mummy went BERZERK, and ordered almost everything on the menu!!
Carrot cake, Tang Yuan with peanut, jelly mango drink were all SUPERB!!
HKG preserves many fond memories
of mummy and daddy courting days.... especially this desert store!!
*nudge daddy* Tell me leh... What happened?!?

After so much sinfully sweet desert,
we strolled back to the hotel to wait for daddy...
Daddy arrived in style,
on the crew bus with the rest of the very pretty stewardess....
I miss you so much daddy!!
Mummy has been walking around this busy streets all day!!

We went up to daddy's room, left our baggage and off we go again....
DuhZ... daddy ain't we supposed to be sleeping after a hard day work?!?
No choice loh... mummy got dessert craving, we all got to follow loh!!
And off we went to Hoi Lau San again!!

So after the dessert craving has been curbed,
and we are all ready to go back to the hotel to rest after such a busy day!!
Mummy had to soak her aching feet in warm water to ease the pain....
For the first time in a million years,
mummy refused to shop anymore tomorrow!!

Discover Hong Kong

Mummy's Thought:
Looking forward to see my long lost "office" space...
The memories of flying were extremely good....
You meet some really nice people and occasionally some BITCHES!!

Seemed not too long ago, I was the one who boarded mothers with infants,
offering them baby kits, making them feel at ease,
showing them how to use the infant seatbelts and all the safety aspects of flying....
Sure felt funny to have my role reversed..

When the safety video was playing,
I felt as if I could memorized the whole video.
It sure feels good to be in familiar territory.

I fed Hiroshi milk & he soon fell asleep amidst all the noise & adrenaline rush
when the 4 jet engines hauled the aircraft from the ground
In my mind, I went " brace, brace, brace.... keep your heads down... stay down stay down!"
DuhZ.... Why am I running the evacuation drill in my mind!!
I am supposed to be a passenger!!

The seatbelt sign soon went off...
The stewardess came and fixed up the bassinet....
& soon Hiroshi was sleeping shiok shiok there..
But he woke up when I lifted him off the bassinet due to turbulence
DuhZ... Now I understood why parents were so reluctant to lift their babies off the bassinet!!

Then meal service started & soon I was enjoying my breakfast while feeding Hiroshi breadroll.
Yummy... It has been such a long time since I took aircraft food...
Sounds CRAZY huh? But it kinda tasted good though!!

1.5 hr to HongKong, Hiroshi starting to fuss....
Luckily I bought new toys to keep him occupied....
Sigh...he wasn't interested in any of the new toys....
neither was he interested in the Inflight Entertainment as well...

So I had to "patrol" the cabin with Hiroshi...
While at the galley....the stewardess cooed at him....
Guess this made him felt so good!! as he was smiling from ear to ear!!

When the captain made the descent announcement,
I left Hiroshi on my BIG BIG seat and fasten him up....
(the funnie thing was, he knew how to unfasten the seatbelt!! And he did that several times!!)
I started reorganising my stuffs....
Putting all essential items into the backpack...
kept my fingers crossed, hoping all that will turn out fine,
and I won't be like a HEADLESS chicken in HongKong....
When I was ready, I carried Hiroshi and put on his infant seatbelt....
fed him water and was more than ready for HongKong....
(He tried to unfasten his seatbelt again!! Hmmm...I wonder where he learn it from!!)

Again, I felt the rush of excitement when the landing gears were down...
When the aircraft's wheel touched the ground of HongKong & thundered along the runway,
I held Hiroshi's hand and clapped!!
YahOoooooOOOOOooOoo... We survived!! We survived the flight!!....Hiroshi first Test Flight..!!

*ke-ching* The real deal.....

*Ke-Ching* Let the business deal begin!
I did my first business today, not multi-million dollar one lah,
BUT, just small small one....
mummy say we shouldn't be discourage,
coz all BIG businesses starts from small small ones!!
*ahem* We are just talking about potty training....
(it wasn't that kinda $$ multi-million dollar business
you were thinking about!!)
Mummy has just started me on my potty training....
She is making an effort by sitting me on the potty
each time I wake up, after meals and before bath time.....
Mummy says she just wanted me to get used to the idea
that i can wee-wee and poo-poo in the potty as well,
instead of my diapers....
Each time I sit on the potty
I get to hear mummy read story books,
have some special toys to play with....
and sometimes I even get to watch DVD!!
Isn't that great incentives to go sit on the potty?!?
See that beautiful, cina-mina potty?!?
That was one of the "items" from mummy's chinese customary wedding....
Well, for now, it is MY Thinking Throne!
(",) Wish me luck, and hopefully I can say bye bye to diapers real soon....
and be a BIG BIG boy in a BIG BIG world. *chuckles*

Daddy the Baker?!?

Has my daddy change his job and become Daddy the Baker?!?

NO WAY!

We were just having fun....
We are pretenting to be bakers, not just any bakers.... We are pretending to be the Good Old Days bakers whom bake using a traditional clay oven.....

Daddy is getting ready to get the yummy banana cake from the clay oven....
We found this rare sight in Johor Bahru, somewhere very near the causeway.... They only open for business from 2.30pm and closes when all their bread are sold out.... *note* sells like hotcakes, pays well to go early.....

And the verdict for their bread?!?
Banana cake is SUPER nice!! Must Try!!

Daddy's leaving on Boeing....

Nine Joyful Months.....

*ahem*
Just kidding....

This is a street busker from Peru
(South America),
Album name: Music from Andes
performing at Orchard Road.... They played songs that sound so heavenly that makes you feel that you are on cloud nine....

And by coincidence,
I am finally 9 months old today.....

My Milestone:
(1) My upper right front tooth is finally cutting!! It's still very shy.... can feel but cannot see.... Silly mummy get all excited just by feeling my new tooth.... (",)

(2) I am crawling faster now.... keeping mummy extremely BUSY... That might also explain mummy's frequent disappearance from updating this blog....

(3) I am starting to baby talk.... Nothing spectacular yet.... But, mummy is just glad that I am making some noise.... She calls it nagging!!

(4) I am trying to perfect my pincer gripe when I eat my Gerber Puffs... It's an great accomplishment when I get these small little crackers in my mouth...

(5) I can hold my own bottle.... YahOOOoooOooOOoo... a BIG boy eh?!?

(6) I can drink from a sippy cup.... But, I prefer to BITE it....

(7) I can drink from a straw.... But, I prefer to BITE it as well...

Well, that's pretty much in a month.... I am looking forward to learn more new stuffs....

Another 'hiro' to keep mummy BUSY 6.....

14 aug '06 : Plaza Singapura (Made with Love)

It's a special day.... The day before Yasuhiro gor gor goes home to japan..... So mummy arrange a beginners scrap book session at Made with Love at Plaza Singapura.... Tutor: Kelly

He has chosen the theme of Jurong Bird Park to scrap.... Chose the pictures, papers on his own and designed everything on his own..... He was very creative and intelligent.... and mummy was so proud of his creation....

Mummy got a frame for his creation, hoping to preserve all those wonderful memories he had in Singapore....

We hope that you have as much FUN as we had showing you around.....

15 aug'06: Going home to japan

Another 'hiro' to keep mummy BUSY 5.....

13 aug '06: Bugis Street

Daddy let Yasuhiro gor gor try playing pool when we were at SIA sports Club.... Then he soon got addicted to the game.... When mummy ask him where he wanted he go for the day, he said in plain simple english, with a japanese accent "play pool"

So mummy bo bian bring him to fusion pool 2 at Bugis near "This Fashion" boutique..... We played for 2 hours, Yasuhiro gor gor started off as a terrible player.... But, after 2 hours of practice.... he got it! What a FAST learner! Way to go man!!

Then mummy let Yasuhiro gor gor go on a trishaw ride.... It was how people get about in Singapore in the olden days.... Mummy let Yasuhiro gor gor go on the ride on his own.... The trishaw rider bought Yasuhiro gor gor to a temple.... *smile* Dunno how they communicate hor....?

Another 'hiro' to keep mummy BUSY 4.....

12 aug '06: Jurong Bird Park

Today was a tough day.... Papa went to work today.... So it leaves only mummy struggling on her own to bring me and Yasuhiro gor gor out to Jurong Bird Park. I was giving mummy a hard time as I was fussing non-stop and I refused to sit still in my pram..... Hey, what do you expect?!? I'm teething!! I'm suppose to behave in this manner.... it's on the books!! My upper right front tooth is coming out soon.... I am a grouch.... Dun you ka jiao (bother in malay) me.... I'll BITE!!

Another hot day, but, we felt so proud of ourselves.... We completed the Bird Park trail on FOOT!! We managed to catch 2 shows.... All star Bird Show and Birds of Prey show..... They were both very interesting.... and very well presented..... At the end of the day, we took the panorail for a nice overview of the Jurong Bird Park..... Poor mummy had backache after that....

That is Yasuhiro gor gor with an owl; Rocky..... So steady-bom-pi-pi hor...... Mummy when I grow up I also want to take pictures like Yasuhiro gor gor.... This picture was taken at the Birds of Prey show.... Impressive isn't it??

Another 'hiro' to keep mummy BUSY 3.....

11 aug '06: SIA Sports Club

It was a rest & relax day in the morning.... We enjoyed ourselves soaking up in the pool at SIA Sports Club.... It was free and easy. I had fun.... Mummy and Daddy brought my rubber duckie travel bathtub (by Munchkin) and use it as a floatation device.... (how innovative!!) Papa tried to teach me how to use my hands and legs to swim in the adult pool.... I feel so much like a BIG BOY.... There was a pool with lotsa bubbles, the adults seems to enjoy it and say that it is a Jacuzzi.... whatever it was.... i had fun splashing in it.... We all had FUN in the baby pool as well.... Yasuhiro gor gor and Daddy (daddy was carrying me) played on the slide in the baby pool... So, how was water play in my baby world? Had as much fun as I did?

Night Safari: Then later in the night we went to the Night Safari..... At the entrance, we were greeted by "Orang Asli" dancers doing Aboriginal Dance with fires & flames! Luckily they didn't danced too near, otherwise I'll become like siau bak!... It was so captivating that clumsy mummy lost a ticket while watching the show.... Luckily, we got help from the manager, so dun need to buy another extra ticket!! Daddy next time dun let mummy take the ticket lah... She so "lun Zun" (clumsy in cantonese) We took the tram around the safari.... Mummy and Daddy could not understand much from the ride as the explanation was in Japanese..... But, Yasuhiro gor gor seems to be enjoying himself....

Next up, was the presentation show.... It was truly entertaining! *thumbs up* Cannot miss this one as well.... This is Yasuhiro gor gor taking picture with the show host; Sue..... Look at how Yasuhiro gor gor is smiling when taking picture with a pretty host... *ahem*

Then Yasuhiro gor gor and daddy proceeded to walk the trails in the safari..... Where was mummy?!? Enjoying herself at the restaurant drinking coca-cola!!

It was a educational night out.....

Another 'hiro' to keep mummy BUSY 2.....

10 aug '06: Chinatown

That's our Chinatown trip.... Everything that day was supposed to be CIIINA!! So we walk through the heritage of beautiful OLD Chinatown..... The thing about this trip is the WEATHER. It's another HOT, HOT, SUPER HOT day..... I was sweating big time!! The most enjoyable moment was the TIM SUM, breakfast cum lunch at Spring Court..... (located along the shophouses beside Chinatown Point) Everyone said that the food was SUPER.... But, I did not got to try any, I was just contended to tuck myself in a corner on my baby chair and enjoyed a decent bowl of cereal and the aircon as well... Mummy didn't have time to cook lately, so, I've been eating alot of INSTANT stuffs ..... (shhh....I think instant taste better then mummy's cooking!! *evil laughter*)

That is Yasuhiro gor gor with a terracota figure in Chinatown.... Who more handsome arr?!? Yasuhiro gor gor or terracota?!?

Another 'hiro' to keep mummy BUSY.....

Hmm.... it's been a long time since mummy blog yar.....
Just wondering if anyone miss her nonsense blogging.....
(",) Well, we didn't went *POOF* missing....
We went missing for a good reason.....
*ahem* My 13yr old cousin from Japan came to visit....
Yasuhiro is Papa's cousin's son....
(complicated hor....)
Yeah!! Another gor gor to play with.....

So this was what we have been doing for the past 1 week:
08 aug '06: Yasuhiro gor gor arrives.....

09 aug '06: Sentosa

It was National Day.... Instead of staying at home to watch the National Day parade on television to avoid all the mad crowd the holiday might bring.... We did the most UNTHINKABLE.... We went to Sentosa!! Well, it was really crowded, but, we had fun.....

We sat in tiny small cubicle threaded on a thick metal wire suspended high high up in the sky..... Mummy said that those were cable car..... The view was breath-taking.... The height that we were travelling on made yasuhiro gor gor a little nervous.... Who wouldn't be?!?

We went to:

1) Underwater World- This is the coolest place on earth!! MUST GO!! It's really tough to explain in words the experience you'll be getting from this place!!

2) Pink Dophin Lagoon- Watching dophins do intelligent tricks makes me want to do them as well... The only minus point was it was so HOT under the sun!!

3) Beach- I did not get to swim in the sea as I was sleeping.... Yasuhiro gor gor had a jolly good time swimming in the sea..... Yasuhiro gor gor, how was the water?!?

4) Musical Fountain- I was fussing like mad before the show start... How can these adults stayed so composed when it is so darn HOT and STICKY..... BUT, when the show started, I soon forgot all my discomfort and was mesmerised by the fountain and laser show..... It's brilliant, another MUST GO!!

Harlow Doggie.....

This is the latest addition to our home.....
His name is doggie....
*chuckles* So Original hor!!
Mummy found him loitering outside our home on
02nd August (Wed)
after getting home from Auntie Judy's place (babies'playdate)....
All our neighbours shut their door on him....
So mummy took him in, fed him....
house him waiting for the owner to put up a "missing dog" notice
But nobody did after so many days...
So mummy concluded that he was abandoned...
He has been a lovable boy....
Except that he pee and poo and mark everywhere in the house!!
Mummy is still trying hard to paper train him....
Hopefully he learns.....
Doggie has also started to take this place as his home as he barks at intruders....
(Finally, someone to put off those nasty door to door salesman)
He has also accepted mummy as his owner...
as he looked back to make sure mummy was still around
when we bring him for a walk...
We brought doggie to a vet today....
We have concluded that....
(1) He is not a pure breed....
We suspect that he is a Miniture Pinscher and Jack Russell mix...
(2) He is about 2-5 years of age....
(3) He has got K9 cough....
he might have this problem for the rest of his life...
as the vet say it is quite normal for older dogs....
He has got medication for that already....
(4) He has ONLY one testicle!!
The vet say the other one forgot to pop outta his skin....
and he will need surgery....
as the testicle under the skin may result to cancer....
Poor doggie... Can you imagine just having only ONE testicle?!?
I dunno about dogs, but if you were a human
you'll definitely be the laughing stock of the whole wide world!!
At this moment, the world doesn't matter to him aymore....
he just need our love, care, cuddle and a nice warm home....

**Special thanks to Auntie Judy, for being so BRAVE to handle doggie in the beginning....
giving mummy the confidence that doggie has got good temperament**

The HYPE of World Cup Finals 2006

Zinedine Zidane HEAD-BUTTED Marco Materazzi

I'm Puzzled! What kinda person Zidane is in real life?!?
Quoted from Beckenbauer,
"He is actually a reserved and inoffensive person."

SO if Zidane is a "reserved and inoffensive" person.....
It MUST have been something Marco Materazzi DID or SAID
that piss the shit outta Zidane to do a head-butt on him!!
Right?!? (thumbs up Zidane!! That was a hell of a head-butt!!)

For those that did not stay up to watch the World Cup,
Like crazy mummy and daddy did.....
This was how the story went.....
With France and Italy tied (1-1) in extra time of Sunday's World Cup final,
Zinedine Zidane head-butted Marco Materazzi in the chest and was sent out.
France went on to lose on penalty kicks.
*sad* Coz mummy and daddy supported France!!

According to daddy's internet sam ku bat gong souces,
Materazzi said racist comments regarding zidane, his mother & sister!
and twisted his nipples
because materazzi is a homoerotic individual.....
(hahahahaha.... I made the last part up!!)

What the hell would you do to a
GUY that twist another GUY'S nipple
on a world class scoccer event?!?

Well, if it was for mummy,
(1) Butt-head him!! (That's how you get him on the floor!!)
(2) Chop off all his FINGERS!! (That's for nipple twisting!!)
(3) Take hammer knock out all his teeth!! (That's just plain evil!!)
(4) Take acid burn his tongue!! (That's for making STUPID worthless comments!!)

So Materazzi, aren't you glad that you only got a head-butt?!?

French sports daily L'Equipe wrote:
Zinedine, what do we tell our children,
and all those for whom you were the living role model for all times?"
Mummy's Simple and Logical Answer:
It's alright to stand up for yourselves
and give them a hell of a head-butt
if they had twisted your nipple and insulted you!

Zinedine Zidane won the adidas Golden Ball voted for by journalists at the 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany. You will always be our football HERO!! (even if you did a head-butt at the spur of the moment!!)

So Italy, take your DIRTY football tactics aside....
so what if you have won the World Cup 2006!!
It's just dirt cheap tactics!!

Mummy is drooling over....
