Absolutely Charming!!!!
Photobucket

Can you Spot Hiroshi?!?!
He's the smallest one on the right!!
So Adorable!!!!

All the kids were amazing!
The months of hard work DID paid off at the end of the day!
We TOTALLY enjoyed ourselves!
(oh well, other than the constant "technical" problem,
and the never ending talking from the emcee,
the whole performance was a THUMBS UP!!)
Photobucket

Finally a moment to ourselves....
Picture Time!
Photobucket

Then, we rushed over to Grassroot club
at Yio Chu Kang for Noelle's 1st Birthday.....
Perfect venue for children's birthday party!
I LOVE THE PLAYGROUND!!!!

Mid-Autumn Festival (中秋节) 2009

I was on the verge of giving up my stand
on ONLY BUYING traditional lanterns
when the kids came back with the school's memo
stating for them to each bring a battery operated lantern
to celebrate mid autumn festival....

I brought the kids to the nearby mall,
telling them to take a pick on their favourite lantern design.

To my surprise,
they didn't go for the battery operated ones!!!!
(despite the fact that I was trying very hard
to sell them the "battery operated lantern" idea!)

Hiroshi ended up with a dragon,
and Sophia ended up with the ever loving purple dino; Barney!
PhotobucketPhotobucket

We spent the night lantern trotting, mooncake savouring,
and really going nuts with light sticks and sparklers!!!
(Kitson & myself seems to be catching up on
what we've missed out during our childhood! -.-"')

We should do this every year!
I had fun, and I'm sure the kids did too!

2009 Formula 1 Singtel Singapore Grand Prix

We cannot remember where or when
Hiroshi's passion for cars started.
BUT, he could roll his toy cars
along the edge of the bed all day,
and still do the same for tomorrow or the day after!
His love for cars is vivid,
since he takes very good care of all the toy cars he has,
especially the Ferrari racing cars his 大姑妈 got for him in KL!

So we couldn't miss F1 when it came to town.

We watched it in the big screens of Marina Mandarin Hotel,
with loud roaring engine sound,
and the smell of distinctive tire burn!

The lil boy was escalated!!!!

*cheeky Hiroshi*
Hamilton WON again!!!!!

Hiroshi can do his BUTTONS!!!!!

I've never been the type of parent
that would push my kids to do things
when they are not ready for it.....

I rather them learn things Own time Own Target.

I can't tell you how proud I was
when I saw my lil darling Hiroshi
did his own buttons on his school uniform today!
(I've never taught him how to do buttons!!!)

Good Job Hiroshi!!!
I am so PROUD of you!!!!

Hanging out with Cousins; Juliet, Jacqueline & Celest

I would like to admit that
I'm not one person
that would make an effort to keep in contact.....

But, after the recent hospitalization saga,
I realized that friends and relatives
are the only people you can count on when you are down and out!

Therefore, I am now making an effort to keep in touch!

We not only hung out,
we also mange to catch Ice Age 3 together!

With Love from Doha

Back Posting: 27th June 2009

Kelvin, Kitson's nephew flies for Qatar Airways.
So, every short layover in Singapore is the precious opportunity
to meet up with friends and relatives....
Which results to a very sleep deprived Kelvin!

Very Nice Guy!
The last time I checked,
He's still single!
So to all fair maidens out there,
grab your chance and get to know this fine chap better!
Latest intel reports that he is blissfully attached!

Kelvin & the Kids
**oh! And I should add,
VERY GOOD with kids too!!**

한국에 환영!- Welcome to Korea!

Back Posting: 25th June 2009

Korean HoneyDew
These stuff are GREAT!
They taste like honeydew,
has a thin skin,
and crunch like apples!!!!
The kids loved it!
Photobucket

Korean Grapes
My first encounter with these jewels was at Paragon; Cold Storage.
I only had the opportunity to admire these beauties,
but not taste them!
The price tags on these grapes were just plain extortion!

So when Kitson hand carried these lil babies back from Korea,
I was thrilled!

It was an experience!
The skin came apart from the flesh easily in my mouth.
To my delight, the flesh taste like red grape konyaku jelly!
And I'll like to add that I did not quite like the skin,
as it seems to be thicker than usual!
Photobucket

After a quick internet search,
I realised that you were not suppose to take it with the skin!
*duhz! What a mountain turtle!*
All you need to do is pop the grape between the thumb and pointer,
and the flesh would magically just pop out!
Photobucket

Care for some grape skin art?!?
I was just randomly disposing the skin,
and to my surprise,
this looks like a knight in shinning armour!
It made my day!
