Gawd, She's really growing up fast!!

On the whole,

our stayvacation has been fantastic!

However, I've got 2 grouses;

Firstly, there wasn't free internet wifi connection.

(I mean oh c'mon, at this light speed technology age we are in,

how can a hotel not offer FREE wifi internet connection?!?!?!?!)

Secondly, the television kept playing the game "freeze" on us.
Not so much of a biggy,
coz the kids soon gave up watching cartoon network
and went out to the pool AGAIN!

 Since Hiroshi ain't that toothless baby Hiroshi we once known him to be,

changing the header for this blog 

has been on my mental checklist for a very long time.

And I finally got about DOING it!

With such a smiley & happy baby,

he has made my transition into motherhood an easy one.

Looking back, Our first posting on this blog was dated 2nd May 2006.

That is like 6 whole years of documenting our lives online!

And in 6 years we've all grew.

Kitson and myself grew horizontally,

while Hiroshi and Sophia grew vertically.

With our lattest addition of baby Franklin,

Life has been really fulfilling!

The old header was good.

But, this new header is even better. 

I am going to take it one day at a time.

Honoring the past, 

and Embracing the Future.

We did pray for good weather.

But, It rained.

It rained the whole of today!!!

Well, by right it should be a mood damper.
But, on the contrary,
we had bucket loads of good fun!!!

Our gathering was moved to the nearby multi purpose hall.

And since it rained the whole of today.....

The weather was exceptionally cooling!

1 hour prior to the gathering,

Frantic whatsapp messages were making it's round.

In the moment of despair,

we manage to get 2 portable BBQ pits,

Tables, Chairs & even Picnic Mats.....

So,

the fun MUST go on.....

(parked the pram with Franklin sleeping
by the side of the table while I buy food.)
Young Lady: How old is the baby?
Me: 2 months
Young Lady: Very Cute hor!
Me: Thank you!
Young Man: Ask her if Boy or Girl?!?!? (In mandarin)
Young girl asked.
I replied, "Boy"
Young Man: Boy is Good!!!!!
Me: Doesn't matter..... As long as baby is healthy is good enough!
Young Girl tells Young Man: Later the doctor scan you go tell him you want boy lah!
Young Girl to Me: Is it natural birth?
Me: No, Cesarean....
Young Girl: Natural birth sounds really scary and painful....
Young Man: (Sarcastic Snigger to me) Natural Birth is not painful one lah!
(at this point I really feel like SLAPPING Mr Young Man)
Me: (Under my Breath) Don't worry, got happydural epidural!

To Mr Young Man aka Ah Beng;
I pray for PAIN to befall on you.

(though it is technically not possible.)
