Merry Christmas!!

Mummy says that Christmas is a season for giving and receiving....
Caring and Sharing....
This is my second Christmas, I think I enjoy it better this time round....
Coz, I get to open presents on my own....
How cool do you think that is?!?
Mummy also reminded me to think about the less fortunate people
in other parts of the world who might not even know that it is Christmas....
Let's pray and hope that the world will be a much better place
with peace and harmony with no fighting and no war....
with abundance food so that people won't grow hungry....
Let's pray and hope that next Christmas
will be a better Christmas for everyone around the world.....

Baby On The Way @ 15 weeks.....

Mummy has been experiencing sharp pain in her leg recently....
It has gotten so bad at one stage that even getting out of bed is an agony!!
This has affected mummy pretty badly....
What used to be 10 mins walk to the nearby mall turns into a 30 mins walking agony....
We had to see the doctor earlier to find out what was WRONG!!
Doc. Chong explained that the baby's weight or position
might have pressed onto one of the nerves
which has affected mummy's ability to walk.....
Sigh, and there was nothing we can do other than to wait for baby to start moving....
Baby is growing well....
And daddy finally able to make heads and tails of the ultrascan... (kekekekeke.....)
We could even see baby constantly moving his/her arms and legs,
and attempting to suck his/her thumb....
We still could not make up the baby's gender (no 100% confirmation)....
But, Doc Chong said..."I dun see anything in between YET...."
hmm.... Does that means I am getting a mei mei?!?

Homemade Tang Yuan

Wondering what are all those colourful tiny balls?!?
Those are Tang Yuan....
It is made with LOVE, aka homemade Tang Yuan.
For the first time in mummy's life,
she tried making these delicious dessert on her own....
of course it is under careful supervision from grandma....
The tang yuan turned out GREAT...
But the amount of hard work mummy puts into it?!?
She thinks it is easier if she gets her favourite
sesame filling tang yuan from the stores...
But, it is definitely a great activity for everyone to get together
and bond while making tang yuan!!
We had tang yuan for Dong Zhi,
let's hope that the coming year brings greater joy and laughters!!

On the Road AGAIN (KL)......

Dun ya think it is fun to get piggy rides from everyone at Mid Valley Mall in KL?!?
I had piggy rides from daddy and Winnie che che....
They were such sports.... So much FUN!!
The Chirstmas lightings were beautiful!!
Everyone was having FUN hanging out together....
The adults even had a 3 hours long Karaoke session....

Lei Cha in PUCHONG

This is another delicious food recommendation, by dai ku jiong....
The word "Lei" means grind. "Cha" means tea.
Lei Cha is a poppular Hakka dish made of tea leaves, herbs, sesame and nuts.....
It is truly a healthy, yummy, tasty treat!!,,,Especially after last night's super duper seafood meal of chilly crab, cheese crab, crab with salted egg yolk & pepper crab!!
Daddy and Grandma both had 2 BIG bowl of rice each!!
Try it on your next trip to KL!!
The store's name is Por Hor Lei Cha at Puchong....

On the Road AGAIN (Genting)......

The car engine roared as we were crawling up the steep hills....
Daddy wind down the windows for us to enjoy the cool breeze....
Brrr... sooo cold!!
Thank God, daddy got me this
Reebok tracksuit from New York.....
I am feeling so much warmer now.....

This is my first trip to Genting....
Grandma and Kimpo went to
a Gaming Centre called "CASINO".....
Blink.... Blink.... All the flashing lights were so tempting....
I wonder if there are any televisions inside?!?
Maybe Baby Einstein, Hi-5 OR Barney was on?!?
Mummy says that kids are not allowed and we have to find our own gaming centre elsewhere.... *pout* So that was why mummy and daddy had to hang out with me.... It took us a long time to find the Indoor Theme Park as the sign were poorly displayed!! When we asked for directions, people pointed us to everywhere else BUT the Indoor Theme Park!! When we finally found it, a middle aged man tapped on daddy's shoulders asking if he would like FREE tickets to a magic show.... Being suspicious to the word FREE, daddy asked why he was giving out those tickets.... That uncle told daddy that he had too many tickets.... and could spare some..... Daddy saw the perfect opportunity to kill some time while waiting for the adults, so he accepted the tickets.....
we walked around the theme park.... It was jam-packed like sardines.... Mummy even had problems pushing the pram around.... Everything in the theme park was bright and cheerful.... Many interesting things caught my attention especially, the roller coaster above us. 'Mummy? When will I be old enoff to ride on one of those?!?" I hope that it will be real soon....
The magic show started at 3pm.... It was more like a musical and a magic show. The show lasted for an hour, I was patient enoff to watch 1/2 way through the show.... and the other 1/2, daddy had to carry me aside to pacify me as I was getting rather grouchy & tired.
.... Anyway, it was a Nice Show, especially the showgirl who disappeared under the box & EMERGED AS A WHITE BENGAL TIGER!!....holy smoke!
As soon as we were done with the magic show, grandma called daddy to tell him that they were ready to go..... We met up with the adults outside the CASINO.... Grandma was grinning from EAR to EAR.... She has won some money!.... YahooOoooooOOOooo.....
Yummy, it's time for a great meal!! Grandma's treat!!

On the Road AGAIN (Ipoh)......

Did anyone missed us while we were gone?!?
We went on a road trip AGAIN....
13 December '06 till 21 December '06
Singapore-Johor-Ipoh-Genting-KL-Johor-Singapore
BUT, the sad news was.... We didn't take much pictures,
as mummy's camera decided that it came his time to retire!!
(that darn camera broke down on us in the beginning of the trip!!
lucky, we had mummy's sony ericcson phone camera
(k800i) to "tong" for the rest of the trip.)
Sigh... so i guess this blog will be picture-less for quite sometime...
till we get a good deal and a perfect camera!!

We picked up grandma from JB,
and poor daddy had to drive 6 hours all the way to Ipoh....
Despite the temptation of all the sleepyheads sleeping in the passenger seats....
Daddy drove on and on till we reach Ipoh.....
Daddy, you beri tok gong leh!!

A CUT ABOVE THE REST
Apart from eating, and eating and eating those fabulous food found in Ipoh,
One other thing you have to do is to have a haircut!!
NO KIDDING!! That is always on daddy's TO DO list in Ipoh.....
We visited daddy's favourite hairstylist Andrew Ong....
As usual, Andrew gave daddy a GREAT leng chai haircut.....
Mummy thought that it is about time for my haircut as well....
as everyone on the streets refered me as jie jie or mei mei,
despite mummy's great effort to dress me in BLUE coloured clothings and PANTS!!
BUT, since my previous 3 haircut were terrible experiences for me.....
it gave mummy the jitters to put on the GREEN light for another haircut.....
Finally, mummy gave Uncle Andrew the go ahead to make me
a handsome boy i once was
from my messy, untidy long hair....
Uncle Andrew asked" Do you prefer layering or crew cut?!?"
"Layering!!" my mummy exclaimed, "We can save all the crew cut for army!!"
You wanna know how it went?!?
I was chuckling throughout the haircut...
And now I look as charming as daddy....
Thumbs up Uncle Andrew!!

My First Chinese Wedding Dinner

Auntie Juliet is getting married today....
Mummy promised that we are going to have good FOOD and good FUN.....

Mummy is a little nervous as this is the first time I am attending a 10 course *ahem* long winded chinese wedding dinner....She is afraid that I might fuss after the first course and demand to be carried round or worst still demand to run around the banquet!!

Well, it wasn't as terrible as what mummy has imagined. At least I stick my butt to the high chair till the second or third course of dinner. The most scary part of the dinner was when everybody stood up and shouted Yarrrrrmmmmm Seeeennnnng.... I just stayed butt stuck down on my high chair, seeing everybody bringing up their drinking glasses, screaming.... Yarrrrrrmmmm Seeeennnnnng... They did it not once, not twice, but three times.... I was extremly puzzled!! I even got a nightmare when I got home.... Mummy sys that we are staying away from wedding dinner for quite some time..... (",)
