Mummy has a appointment with Dr Chong for pap smear at GlenE.
mei mei gets to go with mummy as I have school for the day.

Claudia, Dr chong's nurse commented that

mei mei is filling up fast with baby fats,

and that she is such a sweetie.....

Mummy's Hunt for the Day:

Mummy found this Mutton Nasi Bryani at the cafe at level 3.

(apparently, it's the staff canteen!!)

The achar is crunchy and nice.....

It's a yummy treat..... Cheap too!!

$2.50 for a meal which include either jelly or fruits....

So the next time you are there....

you might just wanna try it!!

mei mei @ 9 weeks, 3 days

BOTAK, but still a HAPPY mei mei.....

The one with HFMD.....

Fever did not subside....

It became a low grade fever in the morning.....
Nevertheless, mummy decides to bring me to the doctor.....

Since daddy had to work this morning,

Uncle Ray and Auntie Crystina came to help....

We reached the clinic slightly before 9am....

Which is the normal opening hours of the clinic.....

But, there was already a Kiasu Q forming outside of the clinic!!

Boh bian loh.... Wait, wait and wait loh!!

We went to get MacDonald's breakfast while waiting....

Mummy got me hotcakes happy meal with apple juice.

I refused to touch any of the hotcakes.....

(which was pretty worrying for mummy,

as I used to be very excited when I see hotcakes.....)

I only wanted the apple juice.....

During breakfast, mummy saw a blister developing on my hand.....

then she went.... "oh SHIT! Dun tell me it is HFMD!!"

Uncle Ray: Nah, it might be just a pimple. Stop scaring yourself!!

Mummy: *checking for more blisters* It looks like HFMD!!

Uncle Ray: let the doctor confirm it.....

Then... to the doctor we went.....

Sigh..... upon examination, CONFIRM, CHOP, GUARANTY...... HFMD!!

There were multiple ulcer on the palette of my mouth,

(that explains my food rejections,

even to all time favourite like ice cream and Ice Cold COKE!!!)

blisters were found on my hands and feet.....

High fever was part of the symptoms of HFMD too!!

I am excused from school for 7 days.....

And I need to return to the clinic to get a "Fit for School" letter from the doctor!!

What arse luck!! Why has it gotta be ME?!?!?

Oh........ Please Ti Gong.... Let me Get well soon!!

The nation is celebrating it's 42nd birthday.....
Happy Birthday Singapore....
BUT, I am simply not happy about it....
Well, I am not the typical complain and complain Singaporean....
But, I tell you hor, this time round I really need to complain loh!!
When the nation is happily celebrating it's birthday
with beautiful fireworks....
I am running a high fever....
and when I say high.... I really meant HIGH!!
It was so bad that my face was flushed red
even without stealing mummy's blushers!!

Since it was National Day,
Our trusty PD; Dr Lilian Lim was not open for that day....
Mummy had to call the emergency hotline to ask for her advice.....
Dr Lilian advice mummy to give me paracetamol every 4 hourly.....
and if fever still persist, visit her in the clinic tomorrow....

My poor parents had to watch me around the clock.....

to make sure that my temperature doesn't hit the roof top!!

Daddy even sponge me with COLD water,

to make sure i am not overheated.....

Dun you think I have the BEST parents around?!?

*ahem* I was enjoying myself with endless supplies of pop corn!!

The movie was hilarious....
But, I wasn't too bothered....
Half way through the show i started making noise....
and Uncle Ray had to bring me outta the theater to entertain me...
BUT, at the end, I still went back to the theater to finish up the show...
with the condition of sitting on the chair on my own,
and playing with uncle Ray's mobile phone.....

Daddy, since i have proven to be so well behaved,
Can we watch Ratatouille in the theaters?!?!? *cheeky grin*

Today is Special!!

I didn't have to wear the school uniform today....

Issit Chinese New Year AGAIN?!?!

It's Racial Harmony Day in school today.

We were encouraged to put on traditional costumes

to mark this special occasion....

Given a chance, mummy would love to dress me up in

other racial group's traditional costume....

BUT, too bad, she got the memo pretty last minute....

hence, NO CHOICE, I'm seen here with my gung-ho CINA-MINA attire!!

(which was what porpor got for me during this year's Chinese New Year.....)

Well, I am not complaining though....

I thought I look pretty charming in it!! *thick skin*

Sophia's 1st Month Celebration.....

We started the day by shaving mei mei's hair..... *evil laughter*
All I could say was mei mei was much much braver than I am!!
She didn't even CRY!! Mummy said I was screaming my LUNGS out
when daddy shaved my hair the last time round.....
Sigh... you can't blame me....
How am I going to charm all the pretty girls
if I look like one BOTAK RECRUIT!!!
So thus, the LOUD protest from me!!

It's a customary belief that by shaving the hair,
you take away all your troubles and worries.....
Just like monks in the monastery.....
BUT eh...Mummy.... We ain't MONKS!!





Then mummy bathed mei mei....
And dressed her up in Pretty Sweet Pinky clothes!!



We celebrated Sophia's 1st Month with lotsa yummy food!!

I was hanging out with my cousins at Giant Megamall at Tampines....
We were having a Jolly GOOD Time!!

I've been a good boy....
I occasionally pop my head over to check if mei mei is alright....
Gently pat mei mei in her deep slumbers.....
And I also tried to share my cheerios to a SLEEPING mei mei
DuhZ... She just simply refused to open her mouth!!
So NONE for mei mei, ALL for me!!

Legally SINGAPOREAN!!

Sophia just gotten her birth certificate.....
So that makes her legally Singaporean!!

I am still LOVIN' mei mei.....

Many people are curious about how mei mei and myself are getting along....

My Confinement Duty.....

Daddy took a month off work to help mummy on confinement....
I thought I should do my part too....
Here I am doing household chores under daddy's careful supervision....
So how?!? Pass or not arr?!?

Compare me and mei mei on the cot I used to sleep in.....

I am truely a BIG BOY now!!

Joy to the World... Sophia Mei Mei has ARRIVED!!

This is the moment we all have been waiting for...
Sophia meimei has arrived!!

meimei arrived on 05th June 2007,
in Gleneagles Hospital, delivered by Dr Christopher Chong.
She is 49 cm and 2.7kg.... mummy said I was a bit taller & heavier than meimei
when I was borned last time

Dr Chong was holding onto meimei's placenta....

Dr Chong actually a very nice and dedicated doctor!!)

This placenta has been providing meimei

vital nutrients and oxygen for the past 9 months....
meimei's cord was clamped & cut by PaPa at birth.....

I love my Mei Mei so MUCH!!

This is my pretty Mei Mei....

She looks so CUTE hor.....

Many aunties from SingaporeMotherhood says that she looks like me!!

Mummy note that I am getting

more and more independent

after attending school.....

I am starting to drink from a cup....

I am still a little sloppy,

but, I am sure with a little more practise....

I'll get better!!

I am also showing interest to feed myself,

BUT, I am still very messy with it....

That is why mummy is still reluctant to let me feed myself at home!!

With my new found independence,

Mummy felt that she is slowly loosing her little boy.....

What seems to be a highly dependent little baby

18 months ago is learning critical independent skills

for him to live without mummy in days to come.....

No matter what happens, Mummy & Daddy will be here for you.....

Sophia @ 37 weeks 1 day

Upon hearing that mummy has slight contractions in the evenings,
and decrease in fetus movements,
Dr Chong ordered mummy to do a CTG scan....
Well.... From the scan, everything looks good!!
Sophia has healthy heart beat rates....
and NO CONTRACTIONS were recorded on the scan!!
*DuhZ* Must be mummy too kan jiong about mei mei!!

After the doctor examine mummy carefully,
he found out that mummy's cervix is softening!!
Which means that mummy can go into labor any time from today....
BUT, Dr Chong hopes that mei mei will be a good girl
and stay in mummy till 05th June 07,
as the doctor feels that she is still abit SMALLish!!

Mummy weights 68KG now....
She is waddling around the house like a penguin....
Quite a funnie sight....
She is feeling sore all over....
Even the slightest movement like turning in bed
or getting off bed is eternity for her!!

Sigh... hang in there mummy!!
We'll have Sophia in our arms in 10 days time!!

Sweet 18 months.....

We have come a long way haven't we?!?

I am finally 18 months old.....
That relates to 1 year 6 months on Mother Earth.....

So how has it been?!?
Oh well.... I am still learning about
"RULES & REGULATIONS" about life in general....
What's black,
What's white.....
And.... *ahem* most importantly, What's the grey area?!?!?
Areas where I can flash my ever so cheeky smile and get away with it!!
